Our Purpose

Works of Our Hands Youth Outreach (WOOH) is a Black/African American, veteran-owned nonprofit committed to uplifting communities in Central Texas. With a mission To restore a sense of purpose and to enrich the minds and empower At-Risk Youth in our communities with the tools and skills necessary for successful life habits and healthy living. Being centered in love and resilience, we provide essential resources to families in need through outreach initiatives and collaborative efforts.

Empowering Communities Together

VISION STATEMENT

To teach the youth of our communities life appreciation skills in preparation for further success through: 

​

1) Traditional education enhancement: (via Tutorials)

​

2) Non-Traditional education enhancement:

    a) Incorporating musical training, arts and sciences in a diverse array of unique learning experiences as a part of an education strengthening  program. 

    b) Providing opportunities via hand craftsmanship to increase awareness of untapped potential and develop self-esteem through personal achievement.

    c) Promoting freedom from drug and alcohol abuse through resistance/ awareness training.
